As new and emerging leaders, Foundation Academy participants engage in a journey of self-discovery and development that builds on two key themes: “Know yourself” and “Know your world”. Based on the concept of training over time, participants utilize knowledge and insight about themselves to expand case studies and discussions relevant to the demands placed on higher education and organizational leaders. Each session integrates theoretical leadership concepts and practical experiences, allowing participants to thoroughly understand, internalize, and apply leadership models and competencies.
Four basic criteria are incorporated in both the design and delivery of the Foundation Academy:

  • Active engagement of participants
  • Meaningful and relevant curriculum
  • Content that is useful and applicable to learning in the job setting  
  • Measurable development outcomes

Cancellation Policy

Registered participants unable to attend an Academy program or event must notify the Academy Liaison 21 DAYS prior to the first day of the event. All cancellations must be received in writing at leadership@chairacademy.com.

Written cancellations submitted prior to the 21 day deadline will be waived of the  $500.00 food, administration, and survey fee if NO expense has been incurred by the Academy in support of the event. 

All cancellations submitted within the 21 day period will be subject to a $500.00 (USD) food, administration, and survey fee. If a participant has paid for their program, and cancels within the 21 days, the $500.00 fee will be deducted from the refund.

    Transfer Policy

    If you need to transfer to a different Program, please email the Academy Liaison, and arrangements can be made.

      During the course of this event, your photo will be taken individually and in group situations. By submitting this form, you are permitting the Academy to post these photos, and/or your name in our social media feeds. We will not release any personal information.
